A 22-year-old Barnhart man has been arrested for allegedly stealing items from a vehicle parked at the Crosswinds apartment complex off Missouri State Road in Arnold, Arnold Police report.
Just before 11 p.m. on April 23, a woman who lives in the complex allegedly saw the man going through the vehicle and confronted him, and then he left and went inside one of the apartments, the report said.
The owner of the vehicle was notified and said that CDs and change, altogether valued at about $110, was stolen, according to the report.
Officers spotted the man as he was trying to leave the area and arrested him, the report said.
The CDS and change were not recovered, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The man was booked, held until he posted bond and then issued summonses to appear in Municipal Court and released, Ruckman said.
