After a man returned home from hunting on Dec. 27, he found his ATV had been stolen from his property in the 100 block of Byrnesville Road in House Springs.
The victim told Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies the vehicle – a 2002 green and black Polaris Ranger utility task vehicle – had been parked under a pavilion at his property.
He estimated the ATV, valued at about $5,000, was taken between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The incident was still under investigation, Capt. Ron Arnhart said Dec. 30.
He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
