A 20-year-old Arnold woman was found dead Feb. 17 from an apparent drug overdose, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman says.

Police got a call about 9 p.m. from the woman’s boyfriend, who said he found her unresponsive and submerged in a filled bathtub, in the Meramec Valley complex, Arnold Police reported.

She was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, where she was pronounced dead, the report said.

Police found a substance believed to be heroin and a syringe near her body, Ruckman said.

The substance will be sent for testing, he said.

No foul play is suspected and no one was arrested in connection with the incident, Ruckman said.
