A 53-year-old Arnold woman recently was cited for suspicion of driving drunk following a four-vehicle traffic accident, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The accident happened at 8:17 p.m. Aug. 31 at Jeffco Boulevard and Tenbrook Road, when the woman, driving a 1996 Grand Marquis, rear-ended a stopped vehicle, which then was pushed into the vehicle in front of it. Then, that third vehicle was pushed into the vehicle in front of it, Ruckman said.
The 53-year-old woman was injured and transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, the report said.
No one else was hurt in the accident, Ruckman said.
The woman refused to have blood drawn to test her blood-alcohol level.
But, Arnold Police were to mail a summons to the woman to appear in Municipal Court for driving while intoxicated, according to the report.
