A 37-year-old Arnold woman recently was arrested for allegedly stealing cash from a fellow employee at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in the Arnold Commons development, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
She was arrested Sept. 24, but the incident occurred on July 18, when the woman, who worked at the restaurant, allegedly stole cash that a waiter had collected through the night and had set down inside the restaurant, Arnold Police reported.
Security footage reportedly showed the woman taking the money, and she did not report to work after that, Ruckman said.
Arnold Police had been seeking the woman ever since the theft was reported on July 20, Ruckman said.
At about 4 p.m. Sept. 24, Arnold Police got a report about the woman’s whereabouts and found her at the Subway restaurant at 1712 Missouri State Road in Arnold, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek felony stealing charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
