A 19-year-old Arnold woman has been arrested for alleged possession of Ecstasy. She was arrested March 7 after she was pulled over for alleged speeding, Arnold Police reported.
At about 3 p.m., the woman was stopped at Jeffco Boulevard and Hickory Manor after an officer allegedly spotted her speeding and then found her with a small amount of Ecstasy. In addition, she already was wanted on outstanding warrants from Arnold for speeding and in Jefferson County for littering, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The woman was booked and after appearing in court for the previous Arnold Municipal Court warrant, she was released pending application for warrants. Depending on drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance and speeding.
