A 32-year-old Arnold woman allegedly slapped and threatened her ex-husband and then slashed a tire on her former mother-in-law’s car. The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. April 27 at a home in the 2300 block of Ida Lane, Arnold Police reported.
The woman’s ex-husband, a 30-year-old Arnold man, told police the two were arguing when his former wife allegedly slapped him and threatened him with a knife, saying she would slit his throat. The man also said that after he walked away from his ex-wife, she walked over to a 2003 Honda Civic that belonged to his mother and slashed the right rear tire, causing an estimated $180 in damage, the report said.
The woman was listed as wanted, and she turned herself in to police at about 3:30 p.m. May 1. After she was interviewed, Arnold Police issued her summonses to appear in Municipal Court for fourth-degree assault and second-degree property damage, Major Brian Carroll said.
