A 23-year-old Arnold woman was taken to a hospital after her former fiance and the man’s current girlfriend allegedly assaulted her in a room at WoodSprings Suites, 888 Arnold Commons Drive. The alleged assault occurred about 4:30 a.m. Sept. 4, Arnold Police reported.

The woman had a bloody nose and cuts on her face and was transported to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County for treatment, the report said.

The victim’s ex-fiance, a 23-year-old Arnold man, and his girlfriend, a 21-year-old Arnold woman, were arrested at the hotel. None of the parties involved gave a reason for the alleged assault, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge.

The male suspect already was wanted on warrants from the Ballwin and Wentzville police departments. The suspects were taken to the Arnold Police Station, and the man was held for the other law enforcement agencies, and the woman was released pending application for warrants, the report said.

Arnold Police will seek charges against the two through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office a charge for third-degree assault, Wooldridge said.
