Authorities are looking for a 35-year-old Arnold woman who allegedly stole a purse and iPhone from an Illinois woman’s car parked outside the CVS Pharmacy, 2120 Lone Star Drive, in Arnold. The incident happened at about 9:50 p.m. May 13, Arnold Police reported.
A 31-year-old Granite City, Ill., woman told police she was in a 2017 Chevrolet Spark on the parking lot, and the Arnold woman got into the passenger seat, grabbed her purse and iPhone, and ran away. The purse and iPhone were valued at about $1,310, the report said.
Police believe a 35-year-old Arnold man in the area at the time of the alleged theft may have helped the Arnold woman get away, according to the report.
As of May 28, police had not located either of the suspects, Capt. Rich Shular said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
