Arnold Police are searching for a suspect accused of knocking down an Arnold woman when he tried to get inside her home on Katherina Drive at about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 28).
The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 45 to 50. He is between 6 feet and 6 feet, five inches tall and weighs between 150 to 200 pounds. It was also reported that he has shaggy gray hair and is missing his front teeth, and he was wearing a blue jean denim jacket, a black-and-white baseball-style hat and blue jeans at the time of the incident, police report.
A woman told Arnold Police the male suspect came to her front door and asked for money, but after she rebuffed him, the man allegedly tried to force his way into the home and knocked her down.
The man fled the home when the woman’s dog came into the front room. The suspect did not take anything from the home, and the woman was not injured, the report said. She reportedly called police after the man fled.
Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said today (Nov. 29) there had been no reports of similar incidents in the area, and police had not made an arrest. Anyone with information about a man matching the description or the composite drawing is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-282-2384 or 636-296-3204.
