Arnold Police are searching for a 36-year-old Festus woman and a 37-year-old Arnold man suspected of stealing three checks and cashing at least one of them. The checks were stolen between May 10 and May 14 from a home in the 3200 block of Rosedale Drive, Arnold Police reported.
On May 24, the victim, a 67-year-old Arnold woman, told police one of the checks had been cashed for $928. Arnold Police suspect the Festus woman, who knows the victim, may have stolen the checks, the report said.
The check that was cashed allegedly was made out to the 37-year-old Arnold man. As of June 4, none of the other stolen checks had been cashed, and Arnold Police had not made contact with the suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
