arnold police patch

Arnold Police are investigating the theft of $2,000 worth of lawn equipment and landscaping tools from a shed behind a home in the 1700 block of Old Lemay Ferry Road. The theft happened between 5 p.m. Nov. 2 and 11:57 a.m. Nov. 3, police reported.

It looked like the culprit broke the plastic door handles on the shed and removed the lock to get inside the shed. One of the victims, a 63-year-old man, said a RedMax backpack leaf blower and a Stihl lawn edger were stolen. A 30-year-old man who also lives at the home said a Stihl chain saw and leaf blower he kept in the shed were stolen, too, the report said.

As of Nov. 15, none of the items had been recovered and there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
