Arnold Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Saturday (Jan. 28) and left a 19-year-old St. Louis man seriously hurt and hospitalized, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
Just after midnight Arnold Police got a call that the victim was at the Circle K gas station, 504 Jeffco Blvd., after being stabbed “numerous times,” Jones said.
He said the man first arrived at the gas station with his girlfriend and then got out of their vehicle and got into another one with some other people and left. Apparently, there was some sort of “altercation” in that vehicle and the victim was stabbed in the side, back and leg and then he was “thrown out of the vehicle” and walked back to the gas station, Jones said.
The victim was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where he was still being treated Monday (Jan. 30), Jones said.
He said Arnold Police officers were at the hospital Monday questioning the man as part of their investigation into the stabbing. However, no arrests had been made, Jones said.
