Arnold Police are seeking information about recent thefts from two tire and auto repair shops.
Between 6:23 p.m. Feb. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 6, someone cut the lock off a gate to an exterior storage area at Plaza Tire, 301 Plaza Way, and stole used tires, four Mercedes wheels and three car batteries, altogether valued at $4,280, Arnold Police reported.
Between midnight and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 6, someone forced open a gate to an exterior storage area at Dobbs, 1354 Jeffco Blvd., and stole about $4,200 in tires, the report said.
Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said the thefts appear to be related.
As of today (Feb. 20), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, he said.
