arnold police patch

Arnold Police are investigating reports of credit card fraud that may be connected to the Circle K gas stations at 2001 Richardson Road and 504 Jeffco Blvd. Investigators do not know if the two cases are related, Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said.

A 43-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both of Arnold, reported March 20 that their credit cards were used without their knowledge not long after they used them at the gas stations. The woman said she used her credit card at the Richardson Road location’s gas pump, and the man said he used his card at the Jeffco Boulevard location’s convenience store, the report said.

The woman said after she used the card at the Circle K on Richardson Road, her card was charged $3,643.47 between March 9 and March 13. It appears her card was used multiple times during that period even though she still had possession of the card, according to the report.

The man said after he used his card at the Circle K on Jeffco Boulevard, his card was used on March 18 and 19 to make three purchases totaling $187.47 through the DoorDash food ordering service and at Famous Footwear. He, too, still had possession of his card when those purchases were made, the report said.

As of March 30, investigators had no suspects. Wooldridge asks anyone whose credit cards were used without their knowledge after making purchases at the Circle K gas stations to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
