An Arnold man and woman and a High Ridge man were arrested at about 8:20 a.m. March 27, after a disturbance was reported at the Crosswinds apartment complex off Missouri State Road in Arnold, Arnold Police report.

The Arnold man and woman live in the apartment on Crosswinds Drive, and police were called there about a woman screaming, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

Officers allegedly found a small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana in the apartment, and the Arnold man, 24, was arrested for possession of drugs, Ruckman said.

The man also was wanted on outstanding warrants from St. Louis County and other jurisdictions, Ruckman said.

The woman, 31, was arrested for false declaration, after she allegedly lied to police about her identity, Ruckman said.

She, too, was wanted on outstanding warrants, including ones from St. Louis County, Eureka and Wentzville, Ruckman said.

The High Ridge man, 29, was arrested for obstruction after he allegedly interfered with the arrest, the report said.

While the suspects were in custody, both the Arnold man and woman allegedly made suicidal comments so they were transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for psychological evaluation, according to the report.

The High Ridge man was booked and then released pending application for warrants, the report said.

Police will seek charges through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
