Arnold Police cited a 41-year-old Overland man for allegedly breaking a window in an Uber driver’s minivan. The incident happened at the WoodSpring Suites, 888 Arnold Commons Drive, police reported.

When the Uber driver – a 44-year-old Imperial man – arrived at the hotel in a Toyota Sienna at about 1:45 p.m. Nov. 12, he reportedly told the suspect there was not enough room in the van for his party, which included a woman in a wheelchair, along with a large cart filed with numerous bags. The driver and the suspect allegedly got into an argument, the report said.

Surveillance video allegedly shows the suspect strike the van’s rear passenger-side window with an object, shattering the glass. The damage to the window was estimated at about $400, the report said.

The Overland man was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for second-degree property damage, Capt. Rich Shular said.
