A 42-year-old Imperial woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 from a deceased Arnold woman’s estate, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
He said the suspect had been the woman’s caregiver.
The theft was reported last year, and the woman was arrested Feb. 11 after the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office picked her up and contacted Arnold Police, who had listed her as wanted, Ruckman said.
He said Feb. 9 that the money had not been recovered.
