Arnold Police arrested a 41-year-old De Soto man and a 42-year-old St. Louis man who were found at Arnold City Park after dark on Oct. 27, when it was closed, said Capt. Robert Ruckman.
A patrol officer spotted the men in a vehicle in the park just after dark and asked them to leave, but about 30 minutes later, when the officer returned to the park, the men were still there, Arnold Police reported.
The officer allegedly found them with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the report said.
They were booked and released on summonses to appear in Municipal Court for possession of drugs, paraphernalia, trespassing and failure to comply with an officer, according to the report.
Ruckman said Arnold Police regularly patrol Arnold City Park on Bradley Beach Road, off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River.
“We watch it close,” he said. “It closes at dark.”
