A 35-year-old St. Louis woman was arrested after she reportedly was found riding a motorcycle that had been reported stolen in Arnold. The woman was pulled over because the stolen 2007 Honda CBR did not have a license plate, Arnold Police reported.
The officer saw the motorcycle at about 10:50 p.m. June 9 outside the Phillips 66 gas station, 5 Municipal Drive, in Arnold. The officer checked the vehicle identification number and learned that a 41-year-old Arnold man had reported the motorcycle stolen from outside his home in the 2200 block of Jackson Drive in October 2021, the report said.
The woman was taken to the Police Station where she was booked and released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek a charge of first-degree tampering against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Cpl. Clinton Wooldridge said.
