A 47-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, both of Arnold, were arrested after allegedly running from police. Each one already was wanted in Jefferson County on felony warrants, and the man also was wanted in Crestwood on a warrant. The man was wanted for probation violations, too, Arnold Police reported.
At 3:15 p.m. May 14, an Arnold Police officer who knew the two were wanted spotted them walking near Jeffco Boulevard and Ridgecrest Drive and ordered them to stop. However, they both allegedly ran away. They were found nearby a short time later, though, in a wooded area near Wagon Wheel Court, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
The two were taken to the police station and held for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Arnold Police will seek charges against them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for resisting arrest, Wooldridge said.
