A 45-year-old Arnold man wanted on numerous outstanding warrants recently was arrested at the Walmart Supercenter in Arnold, according to Arnold Police.
At 1:51 p.m. Feb. 12, Arnold Police got a call about a “possible” shoplifting incident at the Walmart store and when officers found the man there, he didn’t have any stolen merchandise in his possession. However, officers discovered that the man was wanted in Jefferson County, St. Louis County and Maryland Heights on outstanding warrants, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The man was wanted in Jefferson County for numerous warrants, including ones for stealing over $500, stealing a motor vehicle and stealing under $500, Ruckman said.
In addition, the man was wanted in St. Louis County for possession of stolen property and in Maryland Heights for possession of drug paraphernalia, Ruckman said.
Arnold Police arrested the man, booked him and held him for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Ruckman said.
