Jordan Foster, 24, of Arnold has been sentenced to eight years in prison for molesting a 13-year-old girl, according to court documents.

Foster pleaded guilty to felony statutory rape, and on Oct. 17, Jefferson County Div. 5 Circuit Judge Victor J. Melenbrink handed down the sentence, the report said.

Between April 1, 2016, and May 31, 2016, Foster had sexual contact with the girl on numerous occasions. The victim said Foster also gave her “something to smoke” to calm her down, the probable-cause statement said.

Foster admitted to giving the girl marijuana, and he said the assault may have occurred while he was awake for 20 days and “under the influence of methamphetamine,” the report said.

Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Shannon O’Neal handled the case.

Foster currently is in the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
