Terry A. Roderick, 42, of Arnold, a persistent offender, has been charged with sexually abusing a 10-year girl in St. Louis County.

An alleged accomplice, Brittany H. Golden, 29, of Ballwin also has been charged in the case.

While Roderick, formerly of Barnhart, has an Arnold address, he reportedly had been staying with Golden at a home in Ballwin, and on March 9, the two allegedly invited the girl into the home and had sexual contact with her, according to the probable-cause statement.

A couple of days later, the girl reported that she had been sodomized, the statement said.

On April 13, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged both Roderick and Golden with four counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, all unclassified felonies punishable by 10 years to life in prison.

A $250,000 bond was set for Roderick and a $100,000 bond was set for Golden, according to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Roderick has previous convictions, including felony unlawful use of a weapon stemming from a March 2008 incident, felony resisting arrest connected to a different March 2008 incident, felony possession of a controlled substance tied to a May 2008 incident, felony second-degree burglary stemming from a December 2008 incident, and felony second-degree assault, resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident connected to January 2009 incident, all in Jefferson County, court papers indicate.

Golden also is facing a felony possession of controlled substance charge connected to a March 17, 2015, incident in St. Louis County. That case is pending, court records show.
