A 55-year-old Arnold man was arrested after he allegedly was found driving a stolen car. He was stopped after Flock license plate-reading cameras alerted Arnold Police that the stolen car had entered city limits, police reported.
Officers stopped the 2002 Ford Taurus at about 5:20 p.m. Oct. 28 after seeing it traveling north on Jeffco Boulevard near Pleasant Valley Terrace. The car had been reported stolen to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the report said.
The man was taken to the Arnold Police Station, where he was booked and released pending the application for a warrant. Arnold Police will seek a charge against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for first-degree tampering, Detective Cpl. Josh Wineinger said.
