A 38-year-old Arnold man was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 26 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and assault, following a domestic dispute, Arnold Police report.
After the man and his wife had a “domestic disturbance” at their home in the 1200 block of Los Olas in Arnold, the woman left in her vehicle, and the man followed in his, eventually ramming into his wife’s vehicle, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
No one was hurt, Ruckman said.
A patrol officer found the two vehicles stopped and partially blocking the roadway at Telegraph Road and Hawksbury Drive, and the man allegedly confessed to intentionally striking his wife’s vehicle with his own at the intersection, the report said.
The man was booked and held for 12 hours and then released pending the application for warrants.
He also was wanted on outstanding warrants from St. Louis County, according to the report.
