Yount, 31, of Fenton gets 3 years for 3rd DWI, possession, driving while revoked

A 32-year-old Arnold man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after he crashed a 2007 Harley-Davidson FXD motorcycle into the side of a parked pickup. The accident occurred about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 5 in the 2800 block of Fox Run Ridge, Arnold Police reported.

The man was riding the motorcycle around the block and two deer crossed in front of him, so he hit the brakes and the motorcycle slide into the left side of a parked 2013 Dodge Ram. The front of the motorcycle and left side of the pickup were damaged, the report said.

It was not reported if the man was wearing a helmet, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.

Officers who responded to the scene said the man smelled like alcohol, had bloodshot eyes and struggled to maintain his balance. He refused to take a sobriety field test and was arrested, the report said.

The man was transported to the Police Station, where he refused more tests, and he was later released to a sober drive with a citation to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for DWI, Wooldridge said.
