A 48-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for allegedly assaulting another man at the Tenbrook Tavern, 2946 Fannie Drive, in Arnold. The incident happened about 11 p.m. March 23, Arnold Police report.
The suspect allegedly got into an argument with a 34-year-old Arnold man and punched him in the face, breaking some of his teeth, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
“Alcohol was involved,” Jones said.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Clare Health Center in Fenton for treatment, the report said.
The suspect already was wanted in St. Louis on an outstanding warrant. He was taken into custody, booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for third-degree assault and then held for St. Louis Police, Jones said.
