A 50-year-old Arnold man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after he was allegedly seen driving a pickup south in the northbound lanes of Jeffco Boulevard. Drug paraphernalia was allegedly found in the pickup he was driving, Arnold Police reported.
At about 1:15 a.m. Oct. 11, an officer saw a white 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, that the man was driving, traveling in the wrong lane of Jeffco Boulevard near Richardson Road. The man then drove over a concrete median to begin traveling in the southbound lanes of Jeffco Boulevard, the report said.
The officer stopped the man in the 1900 block of Richardson Place Drive. He appeared to be impaired, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested, according to the report.
Along with drug paraphernalia, an officer allegedly found two empty alcohol containers in the pickup, the report said.
The man was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and released pending the application of charges, according to the report.
Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
