A 33-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for allegedly threatening his girlfriend and an acquaintance with a knife and then assaulting a police officer, according to Arnold Police.
At 1:19 a.m. Dec. 27, Arnold Police got a call about a “physical disturbance” at an apartment in the Crosswinds apartment complex, where the suspect allegedly threatened the two victims with a knife, the report said.
Neither victim was hurt, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
Then, the suspect struck an Arnold Police officer who responded to the scene, the report said.
The officer was not hurt, Ruckman added.
The suspect was booked, held for 12 hours and then released pending application for warrants, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for domestic assault, assault against a police officer and resisting arrest, Ruckman said.
As of today (Jan. 12), no charges had been filed, he said.
