man in handcuffs

A 32-year-old Arnold man was arrested after he allegedly attacked his wife, a 31-year-old Arnold woman, and her friend, a 34-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman. The wife was trying to pack up her belongings and the friend was helping her, Arnold Police reported.

The incident happened March 6 at a home in the 600 block of Lonedell Road. Police were called to the home at 2:12 p.m. after the man and his wife got into an argument that turned physical, the report said.

The man allegedly threw things at his wife and grabbed the Ste. Genevieve woman. Neither woman was hurt during the incident, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.

When officers arrived, they took the man outside the home, but he tried to return to the residence. After failing to obey the officer’s order not to go back into the home, he was arrested and taken to the Police Station, the report said.

The man was booked and held for 12 hours and then was released with summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for domestic assault, fourth-degree assault, failure to comply and resisting arrest, Wooldridge said.
