A 24-year-old Arnold man was arrested for alleged possession of drugs after he was found slumped at the wheel outside the Arnold License Office, 3450 Jeffco Blvd. The arrest occurred about 2:30 p.m. March 5 after Arnold Police were called to the scene to check the man’s well being, a report said.
An officer arrived and woke the man. The officer said the man had “slurred speech,” Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The officer also allegedly found the man with Ecstasy and Adderall. In addition, the man already was wanted in Jefferson County for a probation violation, Jones said.
The man was booked and held for the Sheriff’s Office. Depending on results from drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance, Jones said.
