A 37-year-old Arnold man was arrested at about 11 p.m. July 22, after he allegedly assaulted his estranged wife, Arnold Police reported.

The man allegedly was driving at Church Road and Jeffco Boulevard and “intentionally” struck his wife’s vehicle with his own, the report said.

It was a minor accident and no one was hurt, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

In addition to allegedly assaulting the woman, he violated an ex parte order to stay away from his estranged wife. He also was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Arnold, according to the report.

The wife, a 36-year-old Ellisville woman, was wanted on an outstanding warrant and $200 bond from Eureka, Ruckman said.

She also was issued a summons to appear in Municipal Court for allegedly driving with a suspended license and held for Eureka authorities, Ruckman said.

Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for assault, violating an ex parte order and failure to appear in court on the Arnold municipal charges, Ruckman said.
