A 35-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for allegedly assaulting two people at a mobile home in the 2100 block of Plaza Drive in Arnold. The incident happened about 8:50 p.m. Oct. 30, Arnold Police report.
The man allegedly assaulted a man and woman at the home and damaged the home by spray-painting profane words on it. The suspect also allegedly stole a key from the home, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man had left the home by the time officers arrived, but they used a police dog and tracked the man, finding him in a wooded area behind the home, the report said.
The man was booked and then transported by ambulance to an area hospital for evaluation, according to the report.
Arnold Police will seek charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for assault, property damage, stealing and peace disturbance, Jones said.
