The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a recent theft of nearly $30,000 in Christmas gifts from a home in the 2000 block of Catlin Drive in Barnhart, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The burglary was reported at about 12:40 a.m. Dec. 2.
Someone damaged a basement window to get inside the home and stole three 65-inch LG plasma TVs; two LG 3D home entertainment systems; two Hewlett-Packard all-in-one personal computers and printers; two Playstation 4 consoles; and an Xbox game system.
All the items were new, and altogether the stolen electronics and damage to the window were estimated at $29,923, the report said.
Deputies took a fingerprint from the window and entered into evidence, according to the report.
As of Dec. 11, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
