Electronics worth nearly $3,500 recently were stolen from a construction trailer in the 9500 block of Seebold Spur in the Fenton area. The theft occurred at 8 p.m. Aug. 8, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Stolen items included two iPhones, a laptop computer, two phone chargers and a hotspot Wi-Fi. In addition, the owner discovered that the ignition to an unlocked Ford F150 pickup on the property had been damaged, the report said.
Investigators reported no signs of forced entry, although the victim told them he believed the trailer had been secured.
As of Aug. 18, no stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
