A pickup and trailer containing tools and equipment for a gutter business were stolen from outside a home in the 2700 block of Sunrise Drive in Arnold. The theft happened between 8:30 p.m. July 21 and 7:22 a.m. July 22. The pickup was unlocked with the keys in a cup holder, Arnold Police reported.
The victim, a 39-year-old Arnold man, said the 2004 Ford F-350 pickup and 2016 Wells Cargo enclosed trailer were used for his business, Rainmasters Guttering of Arnold. He said the trailer contained gutters, tools and other equipment. The pickup was valued at $10,900, the trailer $7,500 and the gutters, tools and equipment $17,575, the report said.
As of July 31, the stolen items had not been recovered and there were no suspects, Lt Clinton Wooldridge said.
He said Arnold Police are working with St. Louis Police to identify two possible suspects. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
