The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a skid steer loader from a lot in the 100 block of New Sugar Creek Road in Fenton. The piece of equipment went missing between Feb. 14 and March 30, the report said.
A neighbor reported seeing someone with a trailer take away the 2003 John Deere skid steer. The equipment was valued at $26,000, according to the report.
On April 12, Cpl. Matthew Moore said the skid steer had not been recovered. No arrests had been made either. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
