The Leader Wedding Fair announces another prize to be given away in its months-long contest.
The June prize comes from Pampered Chef dealer Glenda Chevenak. One name will be drawn from among this month’s entries to receive a food chopper with stainless steel blades that makes it perfect for chopping veggies, cooked meats and nuts. It is a $40 value.
There is a limit of one entry per person. Registration closes on June 30, and the drawing will take place July 1.
To register, go to myleaderpaper.com and click on the Wedding Fair contest icon at the top of the home page.
The winner of the May prize was Jamie Fuller of Imperial. She received two free tuxedo rentals, a value of $400, from The Bridal Shoppe, a wedding apparel and accessories store in Festus.
Since coronavirus prevented an in-person event this year, the annual Leader Wedding Fair was taken to the internet, becoming a months-long opportunity for those planning weddings to have many of the same experiences, but at a safe social distance.
Visitors to the Leader website at myleaderpaper.com may access a comprehensive list of vendors, complete with maps and links to websites and Facebook pages. It’s a one-stop shopping experience for planning a special event – whether that’s a wedding, a retirement party, anniversary, birthday or housewarming.
Each month during the contest so far, one vendor has supplied a prize to be awarded to a random visitor to the virtual Wedding Fair.
There are still opportunities for vendors to take part in the virtual Wedding Fair. For more information, call the Leader office at 636-931-7560.
