UPDATED: President Trump's speech was delayed until 11 p.m. EST due to weather.

(The Center Square) – You can tune in live to watch President Donald Trump's speech on the 250th anniversary of American independence, scheduled at 9:45 p.m. EST on Saturday.

He has promised a characteristic "really long" speech, despite the heat.

A 40-minute fireworks show, which is the culmination of the "Salute to America" celebration, is scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m. EST.

The show will feature more than 850,000 fireworks and pyrotechnic effects that will be launched from ten sites, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and eight barges on the Potomac River. The display will attempt to surpass Guinness World Records' current largest-recorded show, according to the Freedom 250 Initiative, the official public-private partnership leading the celebration.
