MISSOULA COUNTY, Mont. – Two people died and three were injured in a crash on US-93S on Saturday afternoon, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
A report from MHP said drugs were suspected to have played a role in the crash.
MHP said a Subaru driving north crossed into the southbound land and crashed into a Ford F250 at mile marker 80. The closest town to the crash was Lolo.
The two occupants of the Subaru both died as a result of the crash. A 50-year-old passenger was declared died at the scene and the 50-year-old driver was declared dead after being taken to St. Patrick’s Hospital.
Three young people from Plummer, Idaho aged 16, 19 and 22 were injured in the crash and taken to nearby hospitals.
