The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to close a portion of Hwy. B at Hwy. 21 in Hillsboro the weekend of Aug. 14, weather permitting, so crews can replace a culvert along Hwy. B between Peach Tree Plaza Drive and Old Hwy. 21.
Detour signs will direct motorists to use Old Hwy. 21 to bypass the closure.
Crews plan to close the section of Hwy. B at 4 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, and reopen it by 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16.
The project has been delayed twice due to inclement weather predictions.
