The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a meeting for the public to view plans for the Beaumont-Antire Road replacement project scheduled for this summer.
The open house-style meeting will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Rockwood Administrative Center Annex, 500 N. Central Ave., in Eureka. Participants may attend any time during the open house.
MoDOT plans to close Beaumont-Antire Road for 45 days this summer to remove and completely replace about three-fourths of a mile of the road between the I-44 interchange and Bussen Road in High Ridge.
Access to businesses at either end of the road construction, like the Jay Henges Shooting Range, will remain open.
During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share information about the plans and the schedule for the project.
Residents and commuters in Jefferson County and Eureka are invited to share their thoughts and comments with department engineers.
