A small section of Hwy. 61-67 (Truman Boulevard) in Crystal City will be closed nightly from Monday, July 27, through Wednesday, July 29, for drainage installation, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) officials announced today, July 20.

The closure will run from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night at Hwy. 61-67 south of Sunridge Trail for a few hundred feet, the department said in a written statement. It further stated that traffic may use Hwy. A to access northbound I-55 to McNutt Street “to navigate around the closure.”

Message boards will alert drivers to the closure. All work is weather permitting.

This work is a part of the two-way left turn lane construction in Jefferson County, according to the statement.
