Jeanette Florene Henson McClure, 78, of Mayfield, Ky., died Aug. 27, 2018, in Mayfield, Ky. Mrs. McClure was a genealogist and author. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Born Nov. 27, 1939, in Iron County, she was the daughter of the late George William and Christine (Engelmeyer) Henson.
She is survived by her companion: David McClure of Mayfield, Ky.; three children: John Kenneth Chapman of St. Louis, Carolyn Faith Chapman of Pine Mountain Club, Calif., and Dawn Venessa Ortega of Imperial; one sister: Julia Beatrice Ruble of Dittmer; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Charles William Henson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of R.D. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
