A Hillsboro man was hurt in a single-car traffic accident Saturday afternoon (April 27) on Old Hwy. 21 north of Hillsboro.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Leslie Weaver, 74, was driving a 2004 Chrysler Sebring north on Old Hwy. 21 south of Moss Haven at 1:10 p.m. when he drove across the center line and off the road, where his car ran into a tree.
Weaver sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
He was wearing a seat belt, the report said. The Chrysler had extensive damage.
