Gus Dixon, a Scottish handyman blogger, used Skype to converse with Joe Candela, a Jefferson College Area Technical School welding instructor, and some of his students during the college’s July 25 Board of Trustees meeting. Candela and the students were at the meeting to give a report about how they used a design Dixon shared on his Man Cave Making blog to make 20 stools for their classroom. Dixon said he was impressed with the students’ work.
