The candidate filing period ran from Dec. 5 through Dec. 26.

The last day for governmental entities to place tax increase requests and other measures on the ballot is Jan. 23. The last day to register to vote in the election is March 6.

The following is a list of candidates who have filed. Incumbents – those who were elected to their seats – are denoted with an (I).

Attempts were made to reach every city, school district, ambulance and fire district and other governmental entities in the Leader readership area for a list of candidates who had filed. Not every entity responded.
