Things are heating up in elections for the Cedar Hill Lakes Board of Trustees.
Before last spring, when there was a three-way race for two spots on the board, the last time voters had to decide a contested election was in April 2000.
But on April 4, four candidates are seeking three seats – incumbents Constance L. Schicker and Bret Scott, current member Laura Drummond and challenger Melanie Hudson.
Drummond was appointed to the board to replace Kathy Abbott, who resigned. She now is running for a full two-year term.
None returned a Leader candidate questionnaire.
