Dorothy Mae Schneider, 93, of Imperial died Dec. 5, 2016. Mrs. Schneider was retired as a head bookkeeper of Boatmen’s Bank. She was born July 18, 1923, the daughter of Martin and Bessie (Wood) Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John Schneider; and her stepmother: Hazel (Phipps) Tomlinson.
She is survived by a daughter: Patricia A. (Kenneth) Birt of Sarasota, Fla.; two grandsons: Jeffrey Kimsey of Excelsior Springs and Bryan Baker of Antonia; an adopted granddaughter: Kathy Holt of Arcadia, Fla.; a great-granddaughter: Kristin (Dustin) Strohm of Excelsior Springs; two great-great-grandsons: Remington and Corbin Strohm of Excelsior Springs; five nephews: Gary (Terri) Thompson of Michigan; Oliver (Doris) Schneider and Bill (Ann) Schneider, both of Barnhart, Carl (Sandy) Schneider of Imperial, and David Williamson of De Soto; and four nieces: Pamela (Mike) Sloan of St. Louis, Debbie Parcher of Florida, Edna (Bob) Lofting and Vernita (Max) Tassus.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Lester (Mae) Williamson; a sister: Irene (Doug) Baker; and a nephew: Karl (Connie) Williamson.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home. Burial was be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Pathways Hospice, the American Cancer Society or Rock Presbyterian Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, Arnold.
